Participants
“Young” in the Atelier’s title refers first of all to the festival managers being “young in the festival business”. Participants represent a broad diversity of cultural and professional backgrounds – from students in arts management, to young managers working for large established organisations, to emerging curators running their own innovative international festivals. They all share the desire to implement excellent artistic festivals.

"For the Atelier, 36 young festival leaders from all over the globe landed in Beirut to inspire and get inspired, exchange ideas, raise questions and try to give answers on the meaning and artistic management of festivals. 36 young festival managers from 21 countries - Australia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Lebanon, Poland, Republic of Serbia, Romania, South Korea, The Netherlands, Sweden, Syria, United Kingdom, and Zimbabwe - attended the Atelier Beirut 2015
