Festival Visit meets Giortes Rokkas Festival
Every summer, Giortes Rokkas, tells a remarkable story. The story of a place that is craving life and development and expresses it through art in all of its different forms, taking us on a journey of August scented events that once you experience, you can never forget. The Giortes Rokkas festival will serve us as an inspiring study of how a festival can re-invigorate the village, the region and its strategy of community engagement on every level of the festival.
Open Call for Alumni of The Festival Academy
Giortes Rokkas Festival and The Festival Academy invite Alumni to be part of the group that will come together for five days (17-22 August 2023) to study in depth the Giortes Rokkas Festival in the Greek island of Crete.
Giortes Rokkas is our first partner to explore this new activity format ‘Festival Visit’ that we are developing to investigate innovative organizational strategies and new ways of community engagement of festivals taking place in remote places and regions.
