PASS IT ON FELLOWSHIP
Support a Fellowship!
In this time when so many artists, art organisations and festivals are facing uncertainty, harm and erasure, festival leaders are stepping forward as caretakers and catalysts. Through imagination, storytelling, and collective practice, festival leaders are grounding the work of their communities in challenging injustice and helping shape paths toward dignity, healing, and equitable futures for all.
We need your help to sustain our festival ecosystem and ensure next participation by a diversity of festival leaders in our activities to sustain equitable futures for all festival leaders worldwide.
Taking part in The Festival Academy can impact a festival leaders’ journey in very meaningful and tangible ways. Simon Abrahams, first participated in the ATELIER BUDAPEST in 2016, long standing director of the Melbourne Fringe Festival, recently became a father and one of the 9 co-curators of Theater der Welt 2026 in collaboration with The Festival Academy.
Simon, among other creative leaders, is stepping forward as a caretaker and a catalyst. He talks about the relevance of The Festival Academy and the urgency in which we need your help to pass on the incredible experience you have been able to live.
We at The Festival Academy are calling on our community to support the next emerging leaders whose work is creating a real, groundbreaking, and measurable impact on those around them. We need you to help PASS IT ON by supporting in any way possible, to sustain our cultural and festival ecosystem and the people around you.
